Anton Khudobin began his career when he began studying at the Metallurg hockey school in Magnitogorsk. He played as a relief for the team and appeared in several international contests before he moved to Canada. His first visibility in the Canadian hockey league began when he joined the Western Hockey League’s Saskatoon Blades in 2005. Khudobin went back and forth to Russia. Three years after being drafted, he signed a contract with the Minnesota Wild in 2007. Khudobin splitted his time involving the Houston Aeros and Texas Wildcatters before his NHL debut for the Wild. Khudobin experienced multiple injuries during his stay with all the team. Khudobin was traded to the Boston Bruins in 2011.
