Jim Ross is a retired professional American wrestling commentor, referee, and occasional wrestler which includes an estimated net worth of $4 million. In school, he spend time doing remarking on college radio. Afterward, Ross was employed as a referee for the NWA Mid-South from 1974 to 1977. He became a color commentator for the National Wrestling Alliance. Ross had wide-ranging work for WCW’s Turner Broadcasting and afterwards joined into WWF in 1993. He debuted at WrestleMania IX in 1993 and became the voice behind WWF’s payperview events. Ross became the host of several WWF shows such as Smackdown!,Activity Zone, Monday Night RAW, Shotgun Saturday Night and Stars. In 1998, Ross took a pause from his responsibilities as commentator when his sickness, Bell’s Palsy getting worse. On September 11, 2013, he declared his retirement from WWE.Aside from being a commentor, he also participated in several wrestling matches. He’s married to Jan and has two kids from his previous union.
