Jonathan Winters is an American comic, celebrity, writer, and musician. Jonathan Winters recorded many classic comedy records for the Verve Records label in 1960. For more than 50 years, he released his records and he received 11 nominations for Grammy Awards-Best Comedy Record during his career. He won Best Album for Kids, The Little Prince in the Grammy Awards in 1975, and he bagged the Best Spoken Comedy Album for Cranky(y) Callsat the 1996 Grammy Awards. He also lent his voice to Grandpa Smurf on The Smurfs between 1986–89, and Papa Smurf in The Smurfs (2011). In 2013, his final feature film was The Smurfs 2,which will be devoted to his memory. Jonathan Harshman Winters III was born on November 11, 1925 in Bellbrook, Ohio, USA. He’s married to Eileen Schauder, with whom he got two kids. Winters passed away last April 11, 2013 at age of 87.
