He afterwards attended the School of Performing Arts in Manhattan, and after the Juilliard School’s Drama Department, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1979. David is famous for his roles in movies like Crash, There’s Something About Mary, Barbershop, and Men at Work. He’s been part of rage favorite movies, including John Carpenter’s movies The Thing,They Live,Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick, Armageddon, Oliver Stone’s Platoon, and Requiem for a Dream. A well known voice actor, Keith David earned the majority of his Emmy Awards as the narrator of several Ken Burns pictures, including The War.
