One year after her Broadway debut, socialite Nancy, along with the famous producer of Hollywood, Howard Hawkes, located her. She was taken to Hollywood where she was groomed into a starlet. She got the start that she desired from appearing in the film, “To Have and Have Not”. Lauren was already all set to be a celeb. Lauren performed in many films during the latter half of the 1940’s and the 1950’s that became huge successes.
