NBCs news correspondent, Natalie Morales-Rhodes is now an anchor on the popular news program, the Today show. Natalie was born in Taipei Taiwan on June 6, 1972. Her mom is Penelope Morales a Brazilian national. Her dad is Lieutenant Colonel Mario Morales, Jr. of Puerto Rican ancestry. Natalie grew up living in several states, including Panama, Spain, and Brazil. Due to each of this traveling abroad Natalie speaks English fluently, and Spanish fluently, in addition to talking fluent Portuguese. She earned her degree while following double majors of journalism and in Latin American studies. She joined the Phi Beta Kappa sorority while at Rutgers. When Natalie graduated it was Summa Cum Laude. Her news anchor career started at News 12 in the Bronx. She was the first morning anchor there. Natalie worked as the weekend anchor and reporter of the WVIT TV. She was also the morning co-anchor of the exact same station.
