Norman Pattiz is an American broadcast entrepreneur with an estimated net worth of $350 million. He is the creator of Dial Global, Inc. in 1972 which was later renamed Westwood One. It’s one of the biggest radio organizations on earth. He served as its CEO until he stepped down from your position on February 3, 1994. Now, he is the Chairman Emeritus of the business. It’s responsible in overseeing all UN non-military international broadcast services. Norman was the chairman of the Middle East committee and was responsible in the development of Radio Sawa, the BBG’s 24/7 music, news and information radio network plus the Alhurra Television, the U.S. sponsored, Arabic language satellite TV station to the entire Middle East. Pattiz was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in 2009 in recognition of his significant contributions to the radio business. He owns four Lakers court side seats and is a regular in every home game. Norman Pattiz is, in addition, the former president of the Broadcast Education Association, and an associate of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Pacific Council on International Policy. Norman used to function as Regent of the University of California. Norman serves as the Director of the Office of Foreign Relations of the Los Angeles Sherriff’s Department along with on the Area 1, Homeland Security Advisory Council.
