Born on October 14, 1952, the Italian-Argentine businessman is the younger son of Roberto Rocca, the founder of Techint Group. Techint is an Italian-Argentine conglomerate multinational company that was founded in Milan in September 1945. It has more than 100 companies that run around the world. It has business interests in engineering & construction, steel, mining, oil & gas, industrial plants, and healthcare. In addition to its subsidiaries, it is one of the greatest steel making business in Latin America. It is also the planet ‘s biggest producer of seamless steel tubes that are mainly utilized in the oil industry. Aside from Techint, Paolo Rocca also serves as the chairman of the board of directors of Tamsa. Paolo is in addition the chairman of Ternium, manager and chairman of San Faustin, and manager of Techint Monetary Corporation N.V. Paolo is the vice chairman of the World Steel Association and also a part of the International Advisory Committee of the NYSE Euronext (New York Stock Exchange). Mr. Rocca is a grad of the University of Milan with a degree in Political Science. He then enrolled at the Harvard Business School and earned his MBA. In 1990, he became the executive vice president of the organization.
