Rob Chudzinski began his career as football player for Miami Hurricanes from 1986 to 1990. He played as tight end for the team, and won the national tournament in 1987 and 1989. Upon stepping in as trainer for the Hurricanes from 1994 to 2003, Chudzinski spent his initial two years as a graduate assistant, subsequently served as tight ends coach between 1996 to 2000. Subsequently, he had a short stint at Cleveland Browns as tight ends coach in 2004. Chudzinski eventually went to San Diego Chargers a year after. While with the Panthers, he made the team as among the best 10 offenses in 2011. In 2013, he was hired by the Cleveland Browns as head coach, but fired by the end of the season using a 4-12 record.
