Tyrus Thomas is an American professional basketball player with an estimated net worth of $40 million. Tyrus Thomas began his career when he began playing for the McKinley High School’s basketball team. During his senior year together with the team, he averaged 16 points, 12 rebounds, and six blocks per match. He joined LSU Tigers during the 2005-2006 season. Thomas was hailed as SEC Freshman of the Year and contributed to the team with an average of 12.3 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 31 blocks in 32 games. Thomas was chosen as the primary round 4th overall pick by the Portland Trail Blazers during the 2006 NBA Draft. Tyrus was later traded to the Chicago Bulls.
